7-19-26 h&r springs are crazy fast, ordered sat delivered today. What company does that, Amazon doesn't count. Still waiting on Quadratec to send those spring isolators to get it all put together.

7-21-26 today was frame cleaning and spring perches day. I wire wheeled them and hit them with rust conversion paint and topped coated with satin black rattle can. I also found out that the springs have been out on the front. One spring retainer clip missing and the other spring was sitting on the clip. Well damn! Ordered new clips.

7-23-26. New front 1” lift coils and shocks installed. I bought new bump stops and realized I forgot to install them. Great! I’m sitting tall now. Actually I’m getting old and did not want to much lift. I figured I will throw 1-1/4” body lift as well later

7-24-26 rear drum brakes tonight as well as rear shocks. Went for a drive and the jeep feels so much better. The suspension is tight , but will settle in after a bit. Glad to get it back on road again.

8-4-26 well recieved my wheels back from powder coating. I think I like them and keeps the retro wheels, but updated a bit.

8-7-26 install Toyota h4 headlight kit in tj today after work. Went for a test drive and find the lighting is better then the candles that were oem. I'm not sure about the flat glass housing, but for $26 bucks, ok they will work. Thinking about the next thing to do, but a new project showed up, my moms jk is now part of my collection. Oh yea less money for the piggy bank now.
