Hello,
I just started getting the P0344 code and have been checking my wiring. I noticed that my speedohealer wiring sheath has melted a bit on a part of my exhaust and exposed some of the wiring.

i am currently getting the P0344 code and my engine is stalling at idle/low RPMS. Could this exposed wiring be changing input information to cause the above problems or is it indeed my CPS? I also have replace crankshaft and cam position sensors on hand

2006 LJ. I replaced my OPDA (crown) 2 years ago without issue

Never mind I believe i fixed it. It was still problematic after I changed the camshaft position sensor ( got CEL P0344 and P0340), but then i noticed a ton of corrosion on my negative terminal. I cleaned it with baking soda, water, and a wire brush and now everything works perfect

I’m going to keep the old sensor since it’s probably still good.
