I'm modifying a Clayton 1/4" steel skid into a TT, but I need to flatten this 60 degree bend, it's about 18" long.
What's a good way to accomplish this?

Would a press brake be able to unbend it?
Hydraulic press?
MAP gas and a BFH?
Cut a 50% deep groove along the inside curve, bend, re-weld?

@toximus would gave ideas, heat might play in. Good luck, looks stout.

Looks like you'd have that top bend to contend with too. Having used a pretty hefty brake to bend 1/8 I can't imagine trying to bend 1/4 in a locally available brake.

Grinding an angled cut into the inside of the bend to allow it to be more easily bent and then weld it back together seems like a good approach.
