I can't say that I remember ever seeing powdered ketchup in C Rations or MRE's.

Probably one of those things I just ignored back then and threw away... The mid 80's MRE's were not what you could call edible. I went to NTC in 84 and we were testing them out... 1 hot meal per day & 2 MRE's.. I weighed 165 back then and came home after 45 days and had lost 15 lbs. Those things SUCKED...
