It's always worth seeing again if it is.
I've been told I make terrible first impressions because of this. I'm working on it.
I’m not a veteran but that’s exactly what happens with me.
I don't thing veteranism is necessarily the cause, but the military environment is one that has a way of exacerbating whatever level of dickishness you have within.
So close! In no time you'll be able to walk around with that sweet blue folder that means "don't bother me I'm on my way to appointments". I love those folders.
Being aviation, didn’t have to worry about this.
I hear anecdotes like this from people that have cross-trained into aviation from the Army or USMC, and I love it. We bitch about working 12s over the weekend for code 2 write ups where a lot of guys sit in the office watching football, they bitch about getting lost in the woods & having to drink pond water.

Good eye sir, we have a closet full of them. I was eating breakfast & had my desk stowed safely in the seated position per Air Force regulations & local QA policy.
they were all the rage in 2019 for us. Half are discarded, a fourth are used as monitor risers and maybe a fourth are used as intended. I use my sometimes but primarily as a monitor riser.
