You could polish those things for hours, & the shine wouldn’t last the whole day.
Mop and glow Baby. And a soft rag to keep them dry so they wouldn't spot. (only worked on Cocorons or whatever those uncomfortable jump boots were called we wore in the 82nd with our class As)
Means you've been there too... if I said something like that at work tomorrow there would be a lot of blank stares, averted eyes and concerned looks around the room. HR would probably send a teams invite
Yup. Pretty much everyday. Luckily my Boss's Boss is a retired Submarine and his son and I were stationed at the 82nd at the same time (Didn't know him) So he sticks his head in and says you cant say that $H!T and translates to my boss.
Fort Bliss and Biggs Army Airfield. So glad I left that place. MAJOR pain. Had a solder try and swim across to the river INTO Mexico

My civilian doc would gasp in horror when I told them how much motrin I took...or when I told them the Navy did my first two colonoscopies while I was awake.
