I was smart enough to figure out that I'd rather ride than walk.

That whole "Join the Navy, See the World" thing turned out to be a bust though. Rat bastards forgot to mention that 7/10ths of the world is covered by water. (And it all looks essentially the same once you're three miles offshore.)

Plus, I was black gang. No free rides there.
