Even the way we ended Iraq was totally BS and then all the issues there after the fact... IMO no wars have ended well since WWII.....

DAMN I know what sorts of retraining I'd be giving this soldier.... Lots & Lots of PT and carrying a wooden rifle 24/7 for 30 days... Plus a Article 15...

You've missed the point...

Unless you've got skin in the game it's hard to explain to someone why the way we pulled out of Iraq or Afghanistan could cause anxiety or distress some veterans. It' isn't really about the winning part. Not saying any of it was ideal or great but if you've got a vested interest in somewhere it just makes it that worse when it goes to hell.
