A Memorial Day Reminder

As parades, ceremonies, and moments of remembrance take place across our nation, let us remember what this day truly asks of us.

When the American Flag

passes by, please stand. Remove your hat. Place your right hand over your heart. Pause your conversations. Veterans may render a hand salute.

These small acts matter.

They teach our children that the flag is not just fabric — it carries the memory of those who served, sacrificed, and never returned home.

Memorial Day is not simply the start of summer. It is a solemn day of remembrance for the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
