Birth Control Glasses Those black framed ugly looking things...

Went straight to the Corpman and filled out the paperwork for firefighting OBA glasses. Very cool, John Lennon looking wire frames. Of course, you had to be someone who wore an OBA. So, volunteered for firefighting school and became #1 nozzleman for my watch sections import firefighting team.

Most guys only wore their BCG's on maneuvers and stuff where their expensive civilian bought glasses could get broken...

Now by the time Iraq rolled around they offered Wiley X's to everyone and did prescription lenses...

The OBA glasses were like strap on goggles when I was in.
But we had a dude who was was prior army and got horrible burns in a helo crash. He was a no shit hero-Thrown clear but went back in and dragged the rest of the crew out. Lost his face in the process.
Anyway, he had almost no ears so he always wore his OBA glasses.
Funny fucker too. I was sitting in berthing and a kid came down the ladder and he goes, "Pelletier! You're the second ugliest fucker on this boat...I'm ugly now, but you were fuckin born ugly and I got a big dick!"
