Moab in the rain?

Moab trip March 18-19. I've been watching weather forecast (I know it's a crap shoot) and it's dropped from a high of 62*F to 52* F for those days with better than 50% chance of rain.
Who's wheeled Moab when it's wet? Tips & tricks? What to avoid, etc. or just let it rip?

Tip 1 - leave windows in because I still have dirt in mine from that muddy water.

Tip 2 - Stay off Moab Rim when wet.

Some folks I know that have been there in the rain feel that the traction on the slick rock actually improves as the sand and dust get washed away and you're left with a clean sandpaper surface??
