The noise that people make while they are thinking about the next words out of their mouth makes me crazy for some reason.

"Really?"

No, I just said that because I didn't know what else to say. "Seriously?" falls into the same category.

Usually spoken in that tone and pronunciation that can only be accomplished high maintenance females.

Kinda sounds like "monnypaddai" with a crackly question sound at the end.
