Hey very I need help with me 97 tj.
It has a 4 inch skyjacker lift and has the drop mounts for the transmission, I noticed that it changes the angle of the transmission and engine a lot, is this going to be an issue? Also my engine is touching my firewall so I know my motor mounts are shot but the transmission mount seems to be as far forward as it goes, I’m kinda stuck here. Since my engine is to far back and the transmission seems to be as far forward. The previous owner rebuilt the engine so I’m not sure if something was missed or forgotten or what.

I'm assuming the rear drive shaft is stock, so to do it right you should add rear adjustable control arms, and SYE kit along with a CV drive shaft. Only then can you remove the TC drop to correct the engine orientation.

Ah okay, the previous owner did a hack job on the frame and welded one of the TC drops right to the frame for support I’m assuming. But without doing all that should I be able to fix the motor mounts?

Well either the frame was rotted out or he stripped the nutcerts, either way I would fix it. If not I guess you could replace both motor mounts and the transmission mount, but with those angles they will wear out faster.
