I purchased a 1998 wrangler with a 2.5 blown head manual trans for fairly cheap.. had a buddy sell me a 1995 Cherokee with a 4.0 HO with a 5 speed in it for really cheap I have both motors pulled there is a 7” difference from center of motor mount to center of transmission in which I bought new mounts and was going to weld in should be enough room!!! What I’m not sure about is the ECM and engine harness.. I’m thinking I can buy a ECM YJ 98-04 for a manual trans along w a engine harness and be fine but would like some input.. THANKS..

You can use the parts to make one but you live in the factory service manual, the ho motor may have sensors they just ec, may not work with, and the dash might have issues.
Not worried to much about anything other than the thing starting and running dash light a headlights stuff I can figure out
