so when my Jeep build started to come together my Dad decided he wanted a 4X4 so he started looking at Jeeps, Toyotas, samurais, but couldn't decide, then he remembered a little 1986 2wd Toyota pickup sitting out back, he did some research and found out people can SAS (solid axle swap) them, so he decided to.


he started with this

here's how it stands now ARB air lockers F/R, Marlin crawler T-case, 35" BFGs, Skys Offroad designs SAS, Junk yard axles/brakes/camper shell, apex Offroad bumpers and rock sliders. now were just waiting on driveshafts

HEy now, there's no sasquatches that far east! Love the yota build. I still think I probably should've got the first gen T4R to build instead of the LJ but here we are. :)

It's a great looking truck, is it just a single transfer case or duals? I see two sticks but cant tell if that like an atlas or dual cases. Have you wheeled the TJ v Yota yet?

it has a marlin crawler dual reduction case or something like that, it can go SLOW.
were going wheeling with it for the first time this weekend

Ok good, do well, don't embarrass the TJ community by getting out wheeled by a toyota. :)
