My favorite soft top hack

Well it’s factory sailcloth, so maybe you just don’t know what you’re doing 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Did you ask him to verify that? That must be it........................ or his garage is 100 degrees inside. If my tops were that flimsy, they would flap louder than my wife's mouth on a long trip.

Sorry boogie I didn’t mean to be rude earlier. There’s a very specific way to fold the top to get it to tuck in like that, but I also live in AZ where the sun is always shining and keeps the top pliable. Never had any issue with flapping on any of my three TJs though. They’ve all been factory or Bestop sailcloth.

when i had first got my TJ i did no prior research on the top so i struggled to just take the hard top off then started putting on the soft top. i never had realized the soft top was able to just go down without removing it all. so i had completely kept taking the soft top on and off continuously when i wanted no top. my friend got his jeep and his dad had a yj and a commander so it wasn’t until then i realized you could just take windows off and unclip and fold back. looking back i always was thinking “ man, it’s so much easier to take the hardtop on and off than the soft top”.
