Let me tell you, any troubles you might have with the Jeep will be far worth any time / money you have to put into it. I've owned a ton of cool cars and motorcycles in my life, and I can't think of one of them that comes close to the TJ in terms of fun factor and satisfaction. This is truly a vehicle I will take to my grave with me. Driving down the road with the top off and the doors off, it just puts any thought of money, piss poor gas mileage, or engine troubles in the rear view mirror!

Amen to that !!!...My jeep had some real rust problems when I first bought it...finally got it road worthy and now when I'm driving the rust issue is a very, very distant memory. Hang in there mate.

Yes, This. I have a boat, had motorcycles, done the convertible sports car thing. NOTHING makes me smile like my wrangler. Doesn't matter how crappy my day is, the Jeep makes me slow down, and enjoy the sunshine and the drive. I'm ALWAYS smiling at the end. Sure, its an old car and we all know they can be temperamental at times but its SO worth it.
