Mystery hardware in oil pan on 99 TJ 2.5

What the heck is this? Is it supposed to be somewhere? How did it get in the front of the oil pan?
This first pic is under the crank sprocket behind the timing cover.

Well i figured out what this is. It is the pin that holds the spring in place on the tensioner. Must’ve blown into the oil pan when the spring came loose.
