Hello all.

Was adding some mirrors and dropped a screw. Bent to get it and saw this hose sticking out. New to me. Any idea what it might be? Has a tension clamp so it must attach somewhere. Any help appreciated.

Looks to me to be likely a breather hose for the transfer case?

Maybe transmission

That transmission vent line was routed up and attached to the firewall near the brake booster on my Jeep.
There is another vent line that is for Dana 30 and routed up the drivers side of the radiator and attached with a plastic clamp.
