I'm chucking CEL P0420. Irritating. Took it to my mechanic and he said the O2 sensors are good and that I need a new cat.

I want a complete new exhaust system as I don't want to have a muffler guy saw off my old cat and put another one on. I want a full new setup with new cats and new exhaust/manifold. The whole deal.

Any complete aftermarket systems out there? Like I said - I want new, all the way from where the bastard exhaust system mounts to the side of the engine!

Never seen a complete exhaust system other than a catback.

Let me tell you this though, headers on the 01 and later are a WASTE OF MONEY!!! Want to know why? In 01+ they switched to the downpipe that has dual cats built into it. Because of that the header design changed to the two piece manifolds. When you replace the stock manifolds you are replacing it with a one piece design that is much more prone to cracking than the factory exhaust manifolds.

So, if it was me I would get a replacement downpipe with the built-in cats (Walker makes an affordable one that can be had through Rockauto.com). In addition to that you can go to an exhaust shop and have them custom build you a cat back system that will be much, much cheaper than one of the stupid 'cat back' systems they sell online from Magnaflow or similar. Those things are so overpriced it's ridiculous.

Just don't waste money on aftermarket headers. Even the Banks ones last 3 years at most (usually) before they crack. Not to mention you pay $400 for them and you're lucky if you gain a few horsepower at most (which is only in the mid to upper RPM range anyways).

Here you go:

Cheapest I could find it, but that's the one. Pair that up with the stock exhaust manifolds and a custom catback and you are good to go!

That will not work for a 2006. Only up to 2003. Then they change the compisition required for the catalyst. This one for EPA

Or this one for CARB:

Didn't even realize that, thanks for correcting me Allen.

Anyways, this is your best bet @badlieutenant

Don't be fooled by anyone into thinking that 'high flow cats' or anything will yield you any sort of noticeable performance gains on a 4.0. Truth be told, a catalytic convertor that's functioning properly really won't rub you of that much power at all.

Btw, you should double check my findings. Do not just buy it. Go to Walker's site and do a look see for yourself. <<< Disclaimer :)

I don't know any distributors of Walker products that could hook you up. Usually you can get them from autozone and they regularly have 20% off coupons and free shipping online.
