Need to change the HVAC A/C & Heater Control

PO replaced the control panel with one that doesn't have AC.. while the truck does indeed have AC. How much could he have saved by doing that? Unless the AC is FUBAR and using that switch panel was just misdirection. I don't really miss AC as I truly prefer 2-45, but since it's there I might as well try to get it to work.

The complete control panels are widely available on ebay for under $50 for aftermarket... Anything I need to know before I buy?
