Hello guys. I have 2002 jeep wrangler sahara. I need to get a new ac/heater control panel which really isnt the issue i have. I also need to get the wire that plugs into the center of it because that is the one that burnt out. Im not really sure what its called(name/model number?) or where to find it? Any help? Thanks!

The center harness is for the control panel back lighting.
There are members on the forum that are parting out Jeeps in the Parts for Sale section of the Jeep Wrangler TJ Classifieds; may find what you need there...

..and honestly just buy the controls new IMHO that plastic is going to be brittle as heck
Maybe, maybe not? I'd certainly be PREPARED to replace the panel with something new, but it may come apart ok for him. I just took everything apart on my '98 and was surprised that nothing broke on me.

That being said, I took apart the same panel on my '99 Suburban last month. Ended up replacing the panel when the plastic crumbled on me...😬

When i took it to my friends shop he told me the inside of this middle plug was charred and opening it up right now i can see the side plug by the vacuum valves seems messed up as well

Wow! Looks like there's a fair amount of corrosion (greenish looking stuff) on those wires too.

Just went through this and the reason I asked for pics is because I had a feeling that would be the plug that was burnt..you can buy the mopar harness for 40-50 bucks or you can buy a few female spade connectors of the correct width and fix it for a couple bucks..I believe the width was .187 but double check me

I have now found the same issue in my 2000 TJ. The wires actually melted my vacuum tubes. I a m considering just repairing the 3 wire molex connector by replacing with insulated spade connectors. Having difficulty finding good wiring diagrams, would you have any?
Thanks,
Steve
