Nest Smart Thermostat

I recently purchased a Nest smart thermostat to replace the old one in the home we recently bought. I have to say that after a few weeks of living with this thing, it is hands down one of the coolest pieces of technology I've ever owned... Seriously!

It's priced very reasonably at $228, but you also get a $50 rebate back from the state since it's energy efficient.

Anyways, check it out and read up on what it does. It's simply amazing, and the near unanimous praise speaks for the product itself. Seriously... I'm very, very impressed!

My home's thermostat somehow alerts my wife within seconds after I turn the a/c or heater on. I dunno how it does that, its directions didn't indicate that ability and it was only $20.

Haha! Your wife sounds similar to mine. Any slight change in temperature and I immediately hear about it.

Hopefully they make some more products to integrate with them. I am very impressed thus far with the actual product and the customer service behind it as well. I wasn't expecting it to be as cool as it turned out to be, but it really is.
