New Delphi fuel pump makes weird noise

How is the pressure when it's running?
Sounds like the pressure regulator is relieving back into the tank.
Did a search for you and could not find a Bosch 67655 available...
Several months ago there was a source came available for the Bosch 67655 fuel pump; I purchased one for my parts cabinet as a spare since these pumps are like finding a Unicorn....

I had it out in 4 minutes took 2 hours to start the big plastic nut?😂

Enlisted some help help to start the ring on reassembly. Felt like I should've been able to get it by myself but just couldn't get the threads right. Running 8-10 psi higher than previously, and now able to maintain fuel pressure after shutoff. Jeep starts first turn, first crank every time now with combination of replacing crankshaft sensor with mopar sensor. Also my old fuel pump looks like it has the Chrysler logo on it. Which I believe means its the original fuel pump. That means it lasted longer than my first engine. Jeep runs really nice now. Easily maintains highway speeds with very light pedal pressure, where before it was taking 70-80% pedal pressure to maintain highway speeds. Couldn't be happier.
