Just bought and installed my first major mod, EAG front bumper thanks to @Chris's recommendation. Seems great so far, not too hard to install just needed to trim the sway bar cover a bit. Now just need to watch for good deals for a winch to go with it, and maybe lights. Looking at the smittybilt x20 comp 10k most likely

Congrats on the purchase, glad you like it. I am not sure the sway bar cover will fit with a winch anyways. I just ended up tossing mine when I added a winch.

Yeah I'll keep it for now but wouldn't be surprised if it didn't fit. Might be a while before I get a winch anyway, my honey browser extension said the x20 has been below 500 on amazon so I'm going to wait for it to drop

Yes, occasionally it does dip below $500, I think I paid $450 for mine.

Happy with mine, I have the same bumper, the cover will fit still with a winch. Have the X20 winch. I enlarged the opening so the synthetic rope won't contact the bumper with a TRE Hawes. Mounted the lights and ran wiring through the tube.

The cover will be in the way when you add the winch. Aim for a synthetic rope over the steel cable if you can swing the extra cash. Worth the wait.

I just bought the same exact front bumper for my 98. Should be here tomorrow to install. I've had a Harbor Freight winch in the garage for 4 years in the box, so that will go in too. Got the rear bumper with tire carrier (for my 33 KM2's), package deal for $713. Had to do it! (at least to carry a spare tire). I'll post pics when it's together.
