I love that you did the chassis and drivetrain in that military color (I'm going to assume that is a green color, though it's hard to tell on my monitor). Anyways, the entire thing looks fantastic! Great job! (y)

Now that’s badass. I wanted to paint mine OD green but the wife talked me into keeping it blue. When I saw the pic with the cargo net my first thoughts were of an old GI Joe toy. Looks fantastic. I’d like to read a write up on the details of the build if you ever have the time.

That looks spectacular! Can't wait to hear about your first drive and to see some "action shots" to cap off that pile of a 1000 pics!

BTW, you're never done ;)

Welcome...and whats the scoop on the M35 A2? with a winch to boot!

Yes... it is a 1971 (same yr i was born) jeep Kaiser M35A2 w/winch. Thats my baby! It has gone out in the woods and trails many times to recover other vehicles, yes even jeeps. I still get calls by the tow company i worked for many yrs ago to get the ones they cant!

A few more pics to see where i started... frane was full of spray foam and painted. I sandblsted every part on the Jeep. Fenders were rotted, so i cut them to be "flat" as well as the stock flairs. Spring perches were cooked, so i relocated them after the 4" lift.

I just want to thank this forum for letting me purge this past year of lessons and frustrations... here are a few more pics. Thank you everyone for the positive comments! My wife has no clue the amount of work ive done, but i do have to give her points for dealing with my "amazon, CL, and internet search" for parts and solutions to issues... she did all the ordering and returns... so i guess ill let her ride in it lol.

I bought the green one (98) for $1400, and the blue jeep (97) for $1000 (had to give the guy back the tires, but didnt care) .... kept everything i wanted from both, and sold all the remaining parts breaking even on both jeeps...
