Did he get to ride with you?

Thats cool a third generation is getting to enjoy his jeep!

Yeah it was kind of crazy how fast it happened in the end, but it's better than dragging it out I suppose.

No, unfortunately he didn't get to ride, his condition worsened rather quickly and he started getting afraid to even get out of bed. Once he got to that point, we all knew what was going to happen and I had explained many times to him that if he wants to stay in bed that his chances of being able to recover dropped drastically. So he was aware, I think he was ready to go and just so tired of fighting. I wish I could've gotten him in the Jeep one last time but with it being lifted and him being so fragile I was too worried to even try. He had so many underlying problems that it was incredibly risky and without him being able to support his own weight I wouldn't have much control over keeping him safe in the truck while driving it.

I made sure to take plenty of pics/videos of my kids in the Jeep to show him before he passed. I know he got a lot of joy out of them. It would've been nice for him to see it first hand, but he got to see it none-the-less.
