Hello everyone. My name is Chase. I recently acquired a 98 wrangler from a friend of mine who for the past 16 years used it as his daily. I’ve always wanted a Jeep ever since I could remember just never went actually pulled the trigger on one. When I found out he was selling it I jumped on the opportunity. I had done some previous small maintenance items to it and new it was in decent shape for its age. The motor unfortunately is done. It’s currently sitting at a machine shop waiting for assessment. Hoping it can be salvaged. I’m going to try and post a few things here and there along the journey of trying to get this thing back on the road and hopefully in a little better shape than it’s currently in. I’ve attached pics of what the block looked like when pulled and some of the wiring that I’m having to rework. Looking forward to seeing how this thing turns out.
