Doing a deep clean of the entire car and got to the engine. I just drove it 900 miles perfectly fine. I noticed just now something is obviously missing in the spot. What is usually here?

I think my 2000 Sport has a bunch of pollution control garbage in that location...I remember a plate with a bunch of vacuum operated stuff there when I installed my MC fenders

Alright I'll be the contrarian. I like ABS and wish my TJ had it since there's no way I can think as fast as the ABS computer can when responding to a sensor saying a wheel has locked up. It's one thing for some of us to think we're Mario Andretti but it's quite another to be able to out-brake an ABS system in a sudden panic-inducing locked brake scenario is not gonna happen.

At least not me, and not with anyone whose human in my strongest-possible opinion. The ABS computer will release the locked up brake faster than we could even figure out what is happening. Especially since we're not always focused 100% on our driving 100% of the time and shit happens-— a bad situation like a locked up brake can catch us off-guard and split-seconds count in those situations.

I definitely admit to not being able to outbrake an ABS system and for those who think they can, think again. :)
