New Zealand South Island trip

I’ve shared some photographs on another thread but thought I would start my own for the two week trip down to the South Island of New Zealand…
I will apologise now for many shots of my TJ haha
A journey of about 2400 miles and many gas stations.

Half way down the North Island… found a Dam

And then onto Lake Taupo

My daughter and I spent the night in Wellington by capital city. Another early start ready to catch the 3 1/2 hour ferry across to the South Island.

Pulled into old whaling town called Kaikoura and did a spot of seal watching.

Time for lunch so went to an old school diner and car museum

Arrived in Christchurch finally.
