No bus on bumpy roads

2000 tj 4.0 manual trans and 2000 tj 2.5l manual trans
gauges go dead and no bus reads out on odometer readout but runs fine until the gauges return.

i need repair ideas or what's worked for you.

I have the issue of losing all gauges on ocassion. Found if wiggling the plugs on 100 way panel all gauges return... I'm thinking in my case, one of the plug lock clips must be broke so when it happens and I need to see the gauges I pull over at a convenient spot and wiggle the plug in a little. Some day I'll get around to fixing.......
