New better starter? What is a new "better" starter? As long as it's a factory replacement starter, there shouldn't be any issues with it.

I finally got it started after flipping key on and off a million times and replaced switch to get it to “wake up”
I see no reason the alternator wouldn't cause this issue. A lot of people put the higher output Durango alternator in without issue.
Update when the engine gets warmed up the no bus doesn’t show up? Could the connections be shrinking because of cold weather?
I doubt it. But it wouldn't hurt to pull all the connectors and put dielectric grease in all of them to make sure the connections are solid.
See when it’s at operating temperatures it doesn’t occur but I have to flip the key on and off like twice for gauges to work
It might be time to start looking at the PCM as the culprit. When the PCMs start to go bad, things can start acting wonky.
The first thing to do is reset the PCM by unplugging the battery for 10-minutes or so, then re-connecting it. But if that doesn't work, I believe there are methods detailed in the FSM on how to test the PCM.
In addition, there are companies you can send yours out to who will test it for you (and even rebuild if necessary).

I’ll probably have my dad look in pcm make sure nothings broken. He’s a wiz at that kind of stuff
Yes, and just leave it unhooked for 10 minutes or so. That resets the PCM.
If your dad has a digital multimeter, it should be easy for him to test the PCM.
I haven't looked at it in a long time. I'm not sure if they refer to it as the PCM, ECU, or possibly just "computer".
Open it up on your computer and do a "CTRL+F" on a PC (or CMD+F on a Mac) and you can search for those keywords. That's how I always make finding things easier in the FSM as oppose to scrolling through countless pages.
Might just order a refurbished one and if that doesn’t work I’ll just return it and go from there

Okay it’s reading .7 guess I figured it out. I took a wire connected from battery to the or/dB wire and no bus went away so I think I’ve discovered it
