I have a 2000 Wrangler tj with 4.0l and automatic trans. I recently added fenders to front and body armour and fenders on rear. I had to cut off most of the old front fenders and wire in new signals on the front, remove and reinstall rear brake lights, and remove and reinstall the battery. When i was finished the jeep would not start. It always starts right up. It would crank but no fire. All lights and everything works. After 15 seconds of the key in run position the odometer read. " no bus". I have checked all fuses, relays, grounds, sensors, battery, connections behind instrument cluster. I have a rebuilt PCM on the way , thinking that something in the computer is not letting the jeep start , like a anti theft mode or something. So my questions are:
1. What did i do to cause this?
2. How do i keep it from happening to the new PCM?
3. Any other thoughts on this issue?
