So I just picked up a 1997 tj 2.5 auto as a project to try and get it running again, I got it knowing that the trans was blown and got everything together to do the ax15 swap, but before I did the swap, I wanted to hear the engine run so I’m not wasting time. For some reason I’m not getting communication with pcm, i got both an auto and a manual and I know they’re good since I have another Jeep to test them in. We checked all connections in the wiring harness and all grounds and see no signs of damages, all relays are good but for some reason I’m still getting no communication. I’ve searched all around the forums but it’s still a needle in a hay stack.
Ps: the only thing that comes up on the guages is of course the brake light, and the seatbelt light. And the crankshaft ps is good. Any thoughts?
