no restart

Hello fellow Jeepsters
On the rare occasion that I stall my 4.0 engine by clutch mismanagement, the engine will not restart unless I replace the automatic shutdown relay. It doesn't have to be a new relay, just one of the spares I keep in hand. Has anyone experienced a similar problem ? I have no idea of how to begin troubleshooting a problem like this. Any input to steer me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and happy New Year to all of you.

Fellow Jeepers,
After waiting so long for a reply, I realize this problem is not necessarily easily diagnosed. I simply believe that removing and reinstalling the relay resets something in the ECM. All I can recommend is you all carry a good backup supply of fuses and relays, because that could make the difference of you getting back home or not.
