Intermittent wiper operation

Hello fellow Jeepsters,
For years I have had this problem. The wipers would quit working and after I made a few visits to some stores they would start working again. Now for the last four days they quit and never started again. Today I moved the Jeep and they are working again. I checked all fuses and relays for proper contact and found nothing loose. Has anyone experienced anything like this ? I would appreciate any help as this is driving me nuts. Thanks for reading.

Do not know what year we are dealing with but either way I would just swap out the wiper switch. Easy 30 minute project.
