Not so quick disconnect fuel lines late model

Hey everyone, hoping someone can provide assistance on how to remove these fuel lines I squeeze the tabs on the side but the insides don’t move to release the line.
I tried using the quick disconnect tools but they don’t work either or too big too fit.

Squeeze the colored tabs and pull the black plastic fitting off the line. The colored tab will stay on the steel line and fuel pump.

Those can definitely suck ass. Get them as clean and dirt free as possible before you try to unlock them. Also compress the line towards the fitting first, then squeeze the tabs, then pull.

And yes, the colored tab stays.
