At the end of a day of forest road driving I shut off my 99 TJ 4L. When I restarted it I got a CEL and very rough running engine. Scanner showed a high voltage for both O2 sensors and live data showed they were both stuck at 1 volt. The Jeep is new to me and has over 200k miles. Regardless of what other wiring problems it may have, it's time for new sensors. It has been smelling rich since it bought it. So after looking at a few threads I go looking for new sensors. Nothing local. Rockauto has the NTK rear but not the front, but they do list a MOPAR upstream for $99! Ouch! Amazon says I can't have an NTK for over a month, and I'm not holding my breath on that one.
Question time: Do I order the Mopar front, or order 2 of the NTK rears and splice the connectors to fit the front?
Thoughts????
