O2 sensor

I have an O2 sensor code going off. Was wondering where you guys recommend picking one up and any install tips you may have. I've never messed with any of that before but definitely don't want to take it to the shop for something so small that I'm sure I can buy and replace on my own. TIA!

Resolution depends on the code though. Not all 02 sensor codes indicate the sensor has failed.

NTK sensor from Rock Auto and buy a O2 sensor socket. A propane or MAP gas torch can make things easier if they a stubborn.

I got all 4 NTK sensors from advanced auto parts.

2nd the RockAuto suggestion; if you can wait 2 or 3 days they are the same NTK sensors, for 1/3 the price. Amazon had similar pricing, if you've got Prime.

The front sensors are the important ones. Changing those should clear your code. IIRC the rear sensors don't affect the computer. Or I could have read that info wrong, and I'm full of .

Unfortunately, downstream can throw the MIL light and codes too. My P0138 was Bank 2, downstream O2 sensor shorted.

That's true, I waited 20 days for some wire connectors.
