OEM bumper bolts for aftermarket bumper?

Are the Torx bolts for the front bumper ok to use for an aftermarket bumper? (60+ lbs)

Not planning on adding a winch.

I’ve seen all the threads on replacing with grade 8 hex head bolts, but not sure if they are needed or a nice to have.

Factory bolts are fine if they are long enough, they normally are. You can even slum it and use grade 5 (without it causing any issues).

The bolts the factory installed are Grade 5.

That I didn't know. Does that include the bumper-to-frame bolts on the back? Gonna install a Poison Spyder brace, and "had" planned on re-using those bolts...

Yes. We only go to Grade 8 once tow hooks are installed up front using the bumper mounting bolts which makes the bolts longer and thus easier to deflect/bend.

Even the winch mounting bolts provided by companies like Warn are Grade 5.

AH! At least the tow hook bolts are grade 8s. So it sounds like I'll need to replace those bumper to frame bolts in the rear...
