OEM Insta-Trunk weather stripping

I have an old oem Jeep Insta-Trunk but over the years of sitting in a shed some mice have found the weatherstripping to be pretty tasty. The weatherstripping has since been removed and discarded, my bad for failing to realize trying to find the factory weatherstripping would be nearly impossible.

The closest I have found on the internet is RV slideout rubber D Seal. It looks like it might fit in the channel to lock itself in but I don’t want to buy 35’ of it when I only need like 3’.

Does anyone know where to locate the factory weatherstripping or have some close up photos of it and how it locks in.

I know I could buy some foam tape but I’m trying to keep it as close to original as possible.

Is it the weatherstripping that goes between the lid and the tailgate?

I thought it was about 1/2” thick. I also thought that I could replace it with some window seal strips from Home Depot or Lowe’s. Something like this, but maybe a little thicker.

Problem I see is this is 1”, I agree if I recall correctly from removal 20yrs ago it was about a 1/2” thick.
