Offer Up seriously needs to step up the scam monitoring

This is a little crazy. And most of the accounts are from 2016.
It appears a CRAPLOAD of accounts got hacked.
Or I'm about to get rich buying a couple of dozen Jeeps for $1k each.

OfferUp and Letgo officially merged today. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this is a result of that. Between both apps, I would usually see crap/spam listings on Letgo the most.

I don't use OfferUp or Craigslist anymore (for selling) purely due to the amount of spam I was getting.

I attempted to use their site a while ago. 2 times I tried to buy items that were listed with shipping available. After paying for both items the sellers refused to ship. There is no recourse for buyers and all I got for my trouble was to wait 6 days to get a refund. After that I just deleted my account. Looking at it now it seems to be full of scams and months old ads.
