I would presume that the service life of a Mopar oil filter coincides with the change interval for motor oil listed in the Factory Service Manual and the Owner's Manual, the same as with any filter offered by any reputable manufacturer.
If, however, you are really asking how long one can run a Mopar filter before it clogs up with gunk and ceases to filter because the oil is being routed though the internal bypass valve then the answer would be anyone's guess.
Oil filters are relatively cheap - change them when you change your oil.
Which filter is "best" is a matter of personal preference. One man's "best" is another man's waste of money.
I have regularly used Baldwin and Wix filters in the jeeps and pickup trucks I have owned. In recent years I have switched to Fram Tough Guard filters with Valvoline Maxlife synthetic blend motor oil for my jeep.

I asked because I typically run my Amsoil motor oil to it's rated 25,000 miles.
There was no question using the 25,000 mile Amsoil Ea filters but their only filter for the Jeep is the WIX which cleans down to 12 microns or so.

Its hard to say..... while the oil filer does clean. How long it will clean is up to how much contaminants get into the oil. They have a bypass when they get plugged.
The older the engine it is "possible" that it is wearing faster.
You could send a sample of the oil out for testing. (It is a "fad" now) they will tell you what king of metal they are finding and how much moisture is in the oil.
You have to remember that your engine breathes. And normal air moisture does get into the oil. While it is a VERY small amount it does happen.
I have never sent an oil sample out. I have done a little research on it. I remember watching a video of a guy that only pulled samples and sent them out. And only changed the oil when it was truly bad. I cant remember for the life of me how long it was in between the changes. He did change the filter every 5000 miles. It was an interesting experiment. I wish I saved the link.

With all due respect, I appreciate the curiosity and inquiry into the filter but remember it's a Jeep motor, which was born from a tractor motor, which was born from a tank motor. Ain't no race engine.
Just change the oil and use a good filter every 5000 miles and your Jeep will love you forever.

Dino oil are better for both of my OEM TJs.
