Oil leak

Between the oil pan and trans i have a slow leak. Tryed tightening pan bolts got a small turn out of them(didnt want to strip) Did a new rear main seal about a year ago. Is it possible that the seal is bad already? Should i be looking at something else that may be the problem?

What brand of rear main did you buy?

Did you buy a new oil pan gasket when you did your rear main? Which brand?

Very well could be the rear main. But also check your valve cover on the back side. Might need a mirror and flash light

I used felpro from autozone. New oil pan gasket too. Ill check the valve cover when i get a chance.

@Boinked is right. Could most definitely be the valve cover gasket.
