I have seen it done on ford's and chevy and others. But never thought about looking for my jeep.Hi, resurrecting this thread to see if anyone has found a fix for this common issue. Ive replaced the sending unit twice with no results and my mechanic is telling me it's " driver" on the gauge itself. He has a guy who takes apart the dash and replaces all the gauge drivers at a cost of around $300. Has anybody heard of this?

Avoid the use of store brand sensors.Where did you get the sensor? AutoZone and orielly ones always read zero at warm idle for me after a few months.
That's what I'm trying to say. They're also labeled as "switches" and not sensors usually.Avoid the use of store brand sensors.
