Only starts on second try when warm

you tired the cycle the ignition check? ... if it still doesn't work when you do that, you can check your fuel rail pressure when warm (carefuling). or drop the tank and pull the pump and check it, but at that point, your 1/2 tempted to just replace it anyway cause you already have it out.
I did if I cycle the key off and back on it will start

If you cycle the key without cranking, and it starts, it’s the pump not building pressure, or a leak in the system letting it out (I’m safe in saying it’s the pump)

From the way you described it in your first post, it sounds kinda like injector heat soak. Trouble starting when warm but fine otherwise. However if it's the fuel pump it would be the opposite; trouble starting after sitting a while but fine when warm.

Oh yeah! I forgot about those, that was a service builtn wasn’t it? And they put the annoying insulator blanket over/around them.

@Ep72 call FCA/ go to your dealer and make sure they did all the recalls, for your vin specifically the injector heat soak one. And if you can post a pic of the top of your engine by the injectors, that would help.

How do you fix the injector heat soak ?
