Hey there,
My son has a 2005 4.0, auto. I have had TJ's up through 2004, so this OPDA thing is new to me. I noticed yesterday when I was looking over his jeep, that there looks like an oil leak from the base of the OPDA.
The prior owner installed a Crown replacement OPDA within the last year.
I did some digging and found a thread that referenced this gasket as a possible replacement https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0049ERARE/?tag=wranglerorg-20
If anyone has had experience with oil seepage around the base of the OPDA, please chime in and let me know if I am on the right track in removing the OPDA and replacing the gasket. Also, if I remove the OPDA and do not change the orientation, is it as simple as remove it, clean up the area, install the new gasket and re-insert the OPDA?
Thanks,
Mike
