Opinions on Magnaflow 23227 catalytic converter for 98 TJ?

anyone use this replacement cat? mine is throwing a code for a bad cat and with my coupons at autozone I can get it for about $185 seems like a good price

It's just a catalytic converter, not really much to say about it.

It comes from a trusted name, so I would say install it and be happy. I wish I had more to say, but again, what can really be said about a catalytic converter?

just to see if there were any install problems since it is the precat pipe and cat

I'm interested too as the po removed the cat. Looks like the trans skid plate has to come off. Rock Auto has some no name kits and cats but I've always had good results with Magnaflow and Walker
