Outside door handle?

So the passenger side outside door handle broke today. When I say broke, I mean that the spring broke, and the paddle handle doesn't bounce back in position.

I can still open the door, just have to push the paddle back in place.

It's not a BIG deal, assuming that I can still open the door. But it would probably be smart to just replace the handle.

Any ideas where I can find one at? Brands to avoid? How difficult are they to replace?

How does the crown compare to the OEM version?

Don't know if that matters, I haven't been able to find the OEM version for the full steel doors...

I actually didn't install it. I had the Jeep at the stealership for a battery-related issue and just had them do it for me. I frankly just didn't have the time to figure it out so I went the easy route...threw money at it. 1.5 hours labor.

I will say that the Crown *might* have a slightly different texture/finish than OEM but fortunately you can see only one handle at a time so it doesn't matter!

My Jeep is at my local 4WD shop getting lift on it (yes I'm stoked) so I can't check it right now for you.

Get the Crown one. The action on it is sturdy. Save the $90 or so for something that's actually cool...not just a replacement OEM door handle.

The funny thing is that I actually considered the OEM bc I want the Rubi to be as correct as possible...I always think OEM parts...but then logic set in and I went Crown.
