Oversized Spare Tire Carrier w/ Savvy Tub Rub Rails (Tub Sliders)

I'm wondering if anyone has found a body mounted spare tire that is fully compatible with the Savvy TJ Stainless Steel Tub Rub Rails (iow no required cutting of the rails themselves)? I have a 2000 TJ w/ 35" tires (not going any bigger), stock tailgate, Savvy corner armor, and of course the Savvy tub rub rails. Plans include adding the Savvy taillights which take up a bigger footprint on the corner than the stock lights. Not sure if y'all need more detail?

I previously had the Bestop HighRock 4x4 Oversize Tire Carrier installed before adding the Savvy corner armor and this carrier will require cutting the rub rails. I also have the MORryde Tailgate Reinforcement Kit (same as Exogate) but the larger hinges will interfere with the rub rails and require cutting. I reached out to GenRight and they confirmed that the rails will need to be cut for their carrier as well. Lastly, I reached out to Savvy and they said: "I'm being told GenRight is your best option." I responded for clarification on why so I'll update this thread/edit this post when I get more detail.

Some posts I've found with cuts in the rails to accommodate a spare tire carrier (might be an older version for Jerry Bransford's jeep but I'm not 100% sure. Pretty much every other picture that I can find w/ the rub rails is of a Jeep without a tire carrier

Personally I would use the ExoGate and just make the required cuts. It's no big deal if you ask me.

I had to cut and modify my ExoGate slightly to work with my Savvy LED taillights.

@Chris To clarify, the cuts that I'm concerned about are the ones that would have to be made to the tub rails (not worried about chopping up the exogate plate). If that's what you're referring to... I could probably make the exogate hinges work by moving them away from the rails (towards the tailgate) but this would require drilling new holes in the hinges and removing about an inch or two from the left portion of the hinge which might compromise their strength... idk

Here's a pic of a GenRight swing down tire carrier (my guess is that the swing out would interfere more). It looks like some of the attachment piece had to be hacked but I'll need to confirm

@ImpactOrange Great find! That does indeed look like it will work. I read through the install instructions and it seems to use all factory holes (enlarged) and the hinges are short enough that they look like they won't interfere with the edge of the tub rail. My only concern is that Rusty's company seems to have a bad reputation... https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/rustys-offroad.3727/

I have no experience with Rusty's or their products. I'm using an Exogate. I too am running Savvy's corner armor and tail lights. Since I have corner armor, I ended up not using the Exogate tub reinforcement plate.

I would personally stick with Exogate and trim the tub rails.
